Hey All... I am a beginner bike commuter and would like some advice on how
to handle the 34 mph wind gusts. Should I leave the bike and catch the T?
What is a doable mph when deciding to ride vs stay safe on the T?

I rode out to Newtonville from Boston this morning: headwind all the
way...if ya stop pedaling, it's back to Boston backwards. the safety factor depends
a bit on how experienced you are: if you are tense around traffic when it is
calm, then the wind will exacerbate those feelings. be patient, gear down,
wear glasses, and hum a good long song, or memoraize a sonnet...hoping the wind
doesn't shift for the ride home : heck, I earned a tailwind today...
