Anne, turtle, CMers, MBikers, SCUL, others:

I've played a small, anonymous role in both CMass and MBike, and have been
reading this listserv for a while.  This current rant-counterrant isn't productive.


Anne: You've made your point -- you don't believe that MassBike is a cause worth
_your_ time and money.  OK.  That's cool.  You really have two options, (a) go
away and work on your other causes, or (b) embrace MassBike and work to change
it in ways you believe are better.  Either way, get busy doing it... this
rightous babbling where you simply criticize each MBiker's claim to the good
MBike is doing for not being good enough is a waste of all of our time.

With all due respect, either help make MassBike better with positive action, or
get the hell out of the way.  I'd rather you do the former, as it sounds like
your passion and your experience would be valuable to MassBike.


Turtle: You rock.  I don't think people say that to you enough.  Keep working
for the cycling community, in all its forms -- better laws, more tolerance from
drivers, and (most importantly IMO) a strong supportive group of bikers who just
help each other with cycling and life.


CMers: Keep fighting the man.  And keep advertising the rides, so they'll get
bigger and bigger.  It's truly a beautiful sight to see all those bicycles just
cruising through my neighborhood.


MassBike: Keep fighting in the statehouse, and keep linking the community
together.  Isolation is often a reason attributed for ceasing bicycling riding,
and working to keep the community linked up helps reduce the isolation.


SCUL: I long to join you in the Metro Alpha Division for a night of derbies and
cup destruction.  I solute you and your fine work.


others: Is there anybody left?  If so, join one of the groups above, would ya? 
Even the anti-social anarchists have a group.
