[*BCM*] Be the change you want to see in the world.

--- You missed the irony behind the irony, as I knew you would - Trotsky lost in
1905 - from then on until the ice pick struck in 1941, he opposed the
fascism of the Bolsheviks - fat lot of good it did him. ---
Trotsky did not oppose the brutal authoritarianism (I'm not going to use
"fascism") of the Bolsheviks - he ENGINEERED it. Trotsky was a key
supporter of the crushing of the Kronstadt Rebellion and the betrayal
and subsequent destruction of the Makhnovischna in the Ukraine - two
genuinely anti-authoritarian, socialist (anarchist) movements within the
orbit of authoritarian Communism that Trotsky had a hand in brutally
suppressing. He did not oppose the Bolsheviks - he was a Bolshevik
(right up until he was expelled). His dispute with Stalin was
intra-Party political infighting. A strange bit of history to confuse
for someone to proposes to eliminate "the ideas of bottom and top."
--- You know nothing about "revolution"; otherwise, you would have not called me
a revolutionary. Revolutionaries seek to switch who's on the bottom and
who's on the top. I'm all about eliminating the ideas of bottom and top,
and substituting the idea of "How can we live in harmony with our local
ecosystem?" Top; bottom; wealth; poverty; have no ultimate meaning once the
Fossil Fuel Hegemony has been defeated. ---
The more plausible explanation is that I don't know anything about YOU.
Since I have approximately 3 posts on a discussion board to go by, this
shouldn't be surprising. It should be even less surprising since your
favorite tactic seems to be the "Jes' foolin'" line of debate, where you
respond to criticisms of your ideas with the assertion that the other
party just doesn't "get it," because you actually meant something other
than what you said. Since I have precious little context with which to
judge your comments, you will of course forgive me if I fail to notice
when you are merely being ironic, or deliberately playing off of irony
for the purposes of satire
