[*BCM*] Good source of free/cheap bike parts?

Hi,

Does anyone know where I could find bike parts for free or cheap (or maybe
you have some you wan to get rid of)?  I'm working on building the Pedal
Powered Generator invented by David  Butcher (
http://www.los-gatos.ca.us/davidbu/pedgen.html   )   I'm already keeping my
eye on craigslist, especially for stuff that is free and near Brighton (or
just not really really far from there).

Some of the parts I need are:
  bottom bracket bearing set
  crankset (one piece ashtabula style)
  chainring 44-52 tooth, steel
  pedals
  handlebars
  handlebar stem
  seat
  seat posts
