  Terribly sorry to hear about your ride.  In the interest of helping
Boston bikers avoid theft, would you be kind enough to tell us a bit
about how your bike was locked when it was stolen -- what kind of lock,
to which kind of object, at what time of day?
  Again, sorry to hear of it.  If you're looking for a replacement, this
is the right time of year to check out the bike auctions run by the
various local university police departments.
