That's scary
I know the area well it's very public 
I always use a krypto with a cable cuz the thick vinyl on cables slows down bolt cutters and i lock it to the krypto
locking my bike to a frame because anybody stealing my bike has to carry a lot of tools
Another powerful thing is to personalize the bike in such a way as to discourage easy resale, ie; artbike, frankenbike
