While I agree that it would be best to increase the number of people who
actually bike to work, there are other times when one has to get around the
city. This seems like a great way to get people to start biking around the
city on the weekends or to get to the bars (especially if you don't have to
use it to get home!) or whatever. Yeah, it's not going to get us to 50%
commuting by bike, but it's a step in the right direction.
