[*BCM*] Scooters in the bike lanes

I may arrive a bit late at the Friday night ride. Can someone leave me
their cell phone so I can call and see where the ride is at. I will
probably get to North Station at 6:15. I already have Jessie's cell
(last four numbers being 2253) So Jessie if you'll be on the ride, I'm
all set.
Thanks
Basil

Absolutely not. Not to put words into Jeremy's mouth (but I will
anyway), but he's saying that, while some people would be fine with
it, the odds are great that there would be a fairly large collection
of individuals who would, frankly, express some of the opinions we've
seen on this thread. If the scooter-driver wore a giant sign that
said "I'd be on a bicycle, but I'm currently or permanently disabled,"
it might be a little better, but this list seems to hold the general
opinion that scooter-users are lazy motherfuckers who should just be
riding a bike instead. Obviously, this list doesn't speak for the
mass, but I wouldn't be surprised if some of the attitude carried
over.
No one person would have the right to say "You can't be a part of
this," but would they be *accepted*? I'm inclined to agree with
Jeremy - no.
