[*BCM*] Scooters in the bike lanes

Which is why I posed the Q in the 1st place.

BTW a scooter or moped that has a liscence plate or can exceed 30 MPH is never allowed in a bike lane, anywhere in Mass.

I agree, scooters and mopeds trump a car in the city , but being on a bike is righteous, green and good for your body and your soul.

Absolutely not. Not to put words into Jeremy's mouth (but I will
nyway), but he's saying that, while some people would be fine with
t, the odds are great that there would be a fairly large collection
f individuals who would, frankly, express some of the opinions we've
een on this thread. If the scooter-driver wore a giant sign that
aid "I'd be on a bicycle, but I'm currently or permanently disabled,"
t might be a little better, but this list seems to hold the general
pinion that scooter-users are lazy motherfuckers who should just be
iding a bike instead. Obviously, this list doesn't speak for the
ass, but I wouldn't be surprised if some of the attitude carried
ver.
No one person would have the right to say "You can't be a part of
his," but would they be *accepted*? I'm inclined to agree with
eremy - no.

Doesn't this seem to imply that there's some kind of leader to accept or
reject a scooter or anything else? Because that runs entirely counter to
 everything CM stands for.
